Project: Destination Coffs Coast

The ocean along the Coffs Coast is stunning, but as with so many destinations there was almost no professional quality underwater film content from the region. Seeking to change this, Destination Coffs Coast required an experienced underwater film crew to capture some of their best ocean attractions; swimming with Humpback Whales, Scuba Diving at North Solitary Island with Nemo, and at South Solitary Island with their Grey Nurse Shark populations.

Descent Productions ran a week long shoot in Coffs Harbour, working closely with operators to hero their premiere attractions. We handled all aspects from pre production, through to post production, producing an array of still and video content which was used as part of an ocean based campaign for the region.

 

The Hero Shot

This isn’t Tonga. This was shot in Coffs Harbour. Destination Coffs Coast were as pumped as we were with this one.

 

The Destination Films

Descent Productions worked closely with Destination Coffs Coast to bring their vision to life, producing these two relatively fast paced films to hero in the regions campaign to promote the Coffs Coast to young to middle aged ocean lovers and families. These films were produced alongside an array of shorter cuts, including 30 second and 60 second edits.
